We greatly benefited from the fact that "nobody told us what couldn't be done" - and over fifteen years we dreamed up and built numerous one-off custom machines.  As one example, we designed this insulated bag making apparatus, and machined/fabricated/assembled/wired/programmed every piece of it in our shop, without the benefit of an engineering staff.   

What this machine was able to do, was literally incomprehensible!
